The TA Program provides teaching assistants and MSU faculty with useful feedback on their classroom performance. A trained evaluator from the office will work closely with clients in a series of sessions, including a pre-videotape consultation, video-taped classroom session, and a follow-up meeting and evaluation. The client also receives written assessment in the form of a narrative report after the consultation. This service is free and completely confidential. No information from the consultation can be used for anything except self-evaluation without joint consent of the parties involved. The videotape is yours to keep. Clients could use it and the written assessment in their teaching portfolios!
